VOLUNTEER
Our Parks are only as strong as their surrounding communities. Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. Volunteer opportunities include membership events, special events, partner events, advocacy initiatives, and administrative projects. To find out how you can volunteer your skills, talents, and time, please contact us. Volunteers can work locally and remotely.

WAYS TO GIVE
America’s National Parks are a source of immense pride, welcoming over 300 million visitors each year. However, admission fees and federal funding alone do not fully cover the costs of maintaining and preserving these treasured sites. Like many others, Charleston’s National Parks face significant funding gaps that impact preservation and visitor services.
Whether you’re a lifelong Charlestonian or new to the area, the value of these parks to our community is clear. We need your support—whether through membership in the Friends group or a direct donation—to continue assisting the National Park Service in preserving these sites and enhancing the visitor experience.
