Why Give?

America’s National Parks are the object of tremendous pride and are visited by over 300 million people per year, yet admission fees and Congressional budgetary contributions do not fully cover the cost of operations and maintenance of these National treasures. It should not be a surprise that the Charleston National Parks have significant underfunded needs to preserve the sites and enhance the visitor experience. Whether you are a native Charlestonian or new to the area, you will appreciate the value of the Charleston National Parks to our community. We need you to support us through membership in the Friends group or by direct donations so that we can continue to assist the National Park Service in preservation and improving the visitor experience.
There are several ways to donate to the Friends of Charleston National Parks and support the organization’s efforts to preserve and promote the history of these historic sites. Your support in any form is greatly appreciated by FCNP.
